the sparkling elderberry mocktail

Herald! The sparkling elderberry mocktail!! Just in time for FRIDAY!

sparkling elderberry mocktail

This delicious mocktail packs a mighty punch!  Featuring the season’s favorite flavors to combat the cold & flu season:

  • Elderberry juice
  • Orange Juice
  • Blood Orange Sparkling Water
  • Ice
  • Parsely
  • Tangerine Wedges
  • Fresh Cranberries

What you’ll notice about this healthy refreshing drink is:

  • It’s cold. Like winter cold! Because your throat needs a chill pill when it’s on fire.
  • It’s carbonated. The carbon dioxide erupts releasing a sparkling citrusy flavor from the orange juice and the blood orange sparkling water.

Elderberry plays its part as the holy grail ingredient that has the uncanny ability to fight the flu and other respiratory infections making it the herb’s forte to deliver a speedy recovery.

One sip of this mouthfeel that has elderberry juice with a double dose of citrus, you’ll understand why this mocktail has the moxie to conquer any cold or flu. Garnished with fresh parsley (yes, it’s edible rich in vitamins A, C, and K), and a tangerine wedge just to keep it in the citrus family.

Under well circumstances, I wouldn’t recommend you consume raw cranberries (because of the tartness) unless you plan on juicing them and adding a sweetener.

BUT!

When you’re not feeling well, and can’t taste anything and cranberries are full of robust phytochemicals. Well… you know what to do. Bon Appetit!

Cheers to wellness!sparkling elderberry mocktail
