I apologize in advance this post is 5 hours late, but LIFE went all crazy on me this morning, so without further ado here it is . . . .
I was feeling adventurous and transformed my innocent, delicious homemade ginger beer recipe into a Moscow mule, and let’s just say; I’ve been smiling ever since. 🙂 #myeyesaretight
When it comes to cocktails, wine, or any alcoholic beverage, I have this 3 rule policy I only drink on special occasions. **And NO my life is not this ordered**, but, generally speaking, it would fall under one of these occasions:
* Wedding Anniversary
* Vacation
* My birthday
Today’s post falls under drum roll please (!!!!!)
IT’S MY BIRTHDAY! 🙂
That’s right! Thursday, July 30th I celebrate #3 years of life, and I’m so blessed and thankful for each year.
And on that note, let’s get this party started!
Believe me when I say I’m no barista, but I quickly learned I don’t have to be to make this classic cocktail. All you need is ginger beer, some vodka, a few sprigs of mint leaves, lime, and ice- and you have yourself the perfect summer cocktail.
Make no mistake, this drink is the quiet type. It’s soft, smooth (oh boy is it smooth) full of gingery -lime aromas alluring in taste it complemented and enhanced my salad leaving me on the perfect high note.
Tip: If you really wanna throw caution to the wind add in a jalapeno do it! Let’s just say I tried it and we may or may not know how many drinks I had! 🙂
I made enough to share you didn’t think I was drinking alone, did you?
So let’s raise a mug and observe the beauty of this Moscow Mule and my birthday.
Cheers!
