It’s my new favorite go-to drinking glass. Â I have the notion that if I drink out of it long enough, I’ll take on its shape. You have to admit, the shape of this glass is FIERCE! Â
So it’s day 3 and going strong! Â This week commenced our family’s Dietbet challenge. Â I’m doing well, I haven’t quit nor have I scarfed down a medium pan Wisconsin 6 cheese pizza with a side order of cheese breadsticks and a diet Pepsi- Sorry flashback, but I have been feeling sluggish and ravenous around 3:00 in the afternoon. Â So rather than binge out on chips, cookies, and pie Oh, MY! I decided on this quick, creamy milkshake that’s loaded with potassium to boost my energy and curtail my appetite.Â
This was the first time I’ve used hemp milk, and I love it!  It’s smooth, creamy, nutty flavor paired well with the sweetness of the dates.Â
- 2 Tablespoons of raw almond butter
- 2 Medjool dates pitted
- 1½ cups of cold hemp milk (unsweetened)
- 1 Frozen Banana
- Pinch of cinnamon
- Remove the pit from dates. Combine ingredients in a blender, blend on high for 20 seconds, or until smooth and creamy.
