Dark butterscotch squares because timing is EVERYTHING!!
There comes a time in your life when you really just want to eat a whole pan of butterscotch squares. When you’re alone and no one is watching, when your sugar meter is on low, or when a major holiday is just days away.
These thick and chewy butterscotch squares are my family’s weakness they just love’em. They’re simple-easy to make and they’re the perfect dessert option for any occasion.
If you love brownies you’re going to devour these butterscotch squares. The core ingredient is brown sugar-like really, should I go on? They’re a hybrid of a chunk of rich fudge with a brownie crinkly crust situation going on.
Honestly: the moist smooth buttery dark sugar morsels, the salty flakes, the crunchy pecans- what’s better than this? I’ll wait…
These are for you. Indulge.
The next time you need some indulgent to sweeten things up a bit, check out my butternut squash donut holes coated with coconut glaze or these decadent superfood bliss balls.
Aren’t you thankful we’re friends? 🙂
