Good Morning! Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend, I know I did. How about dem Dallas Cowboys? Yes, we were defeated by the Green Bay Packers :(, but we played SPECTACULAR football this season. #dallascowboysnextyearsuperbowl.
Next Monday, I will participate in my family’s Dietbet weight loss challenge. I made this smoothie yesterday as my way of starting slow and easing my way into making changes in my diet in the upcoming weeks. Soooo, why not start with a smoothie. I just love smoothies they are loaded with healthy, sweet ingredients and so easy to make.
I used the most usable items I had on hand to make this tall order of deliciousness. For the last month, I have been eating frozen cherries like CRAZY my go-to snack lately as an MoM of four, peanut butter is the main staple in this household.
- 1¼ cup of vanilla almond milk (I used unsweetened)
- ⅔ cup frozen cherries
- ½ cup cold grape juice
- 1 tablespoon of peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- ½ teaspoon of chia seeds
- ½ cup of small ice cubes
- Put ingredients in a blender or magic bullet blend until smooth.
