A few weeks ago, my mouth experienced personal growth with this delicious broccoli stir fry made with kelp noodles.
There are a lot of noodles you can use to make stir-fries, but I am here to tell you that there is nothing more satisfying and healthier than using kelp noodles.
CHECK THE STATS:
- Kelp is a sea vegetable with a rich content of trace minerals that includes iodine.
- Kelp noodles are gluten-free, fat-free, low in carbohydrates and calories.
Still not convinced? Kelp screams fishy taste, right? Wrong. Believe it or not, the taste is neutral, so it takes on the flavor profile of the recipe. In this case, the garlic flavor is imbued in every bite.
I used broccoli and spinach tumbled in a coconut amino sauce with garlic, onions, and vegetable broth. FYI, I use coconut aminos as my alternative to soy sauce since I’ve modified my diet.
Coconut aminos is 100% organic, Gluten-Free, Non-GMO, Non- MSG and it’s VEGAN double.
How To Prepare Broccoli Stir Fry with Kelp Noodles
- 1 package of Kelp Noodles
- ½ onion sliced
- 2 Tablespoons of sesame seed oil
- 1 cup of vegetable stock
- 1 cup of broccoli florets
- 2 handfuls of fresh spinach
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- Coconut Aminos
- Pink sea salt
- Black sesame seeds
- Crushed red pepper flakes
- Rinse kelp noodles and place them in a bowl of warm water and set them aside.
- Stir fry garlic and onions in sesame oil over medium heat, until brown. Add in broccoli & spinach to saute.
- Add kelp noodles and a few dashes of coconut
aminos , then pour in the vegetable broth. - Add pink salt and coconut
aminos to taste, stir until the noodles soften. - Serve hot topped with sesame seeds and crushed red pepper flakes.
- Enjoy!
So yeah, explore the alternative.
